Cardinals vs Pirates Free Baseball Prediction 7/2
When it comes to clutch moments, the St. Louis Cardinals are confident they’ll come out on top. Especially with a lead in the late innings. As they head into their series opener on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates, their secret weapon, closer Ryan Helsley, has nailed down 30 consecutive saves. This ties him with Lee Smith for the most saves by a St. Louis reliever before the All-Star break. Let’s take a look at my Cardinals vs Pirates Free Baseball Prediction 7/2
Kyle Gibson: Ready to Rebound
On the mound for the Cardinals’ series opener is right-hander Kyle Gibson. Gibson (5-3, 3.70 ERA) is shaking off his first loss in over two months. A rough outing against the Atlanta Braves. In that game, he gave up four runs, four hits, and five walks over four innings, resulting in a 6-2 loss. Despite his last game, Gibson’s overall season has been solid. Prior to that game, he was riding a hot streak with a 4-0 record and a 2.64 ERA over his previous 11 starts. Even with a hiccup here and there, he’s got the goods to bounce back.
Mitch Keller: Pirates’ Ace in the Hole
The Pirates are countering with right-hander Mitch Keller (9-4, 3.20 ERA). Keller had a stellar June, posting a 3-1 record with a 2.35 ERA over five starts. He’s been on fire since May, where he went 4-0 with a minuscule 1.30 ERA. Keller’s most recent outing saw him give up four runs (three earned) and six hits over 5 2/3 innings in a 9-5 victory against the Cincinnati Reds. The Cardinals managed to hand him his only loss in his last nine outings on June 13, scoring four runs and eight hits in six innings against him. With Keller’s record against the Cardinals standing at 2-2 with a 3.56 ERA over 11 starts, this matchup promises fireworks.

Free Baseball Betting Pick 7/2
Considering the Cardinals’ late-game resilience and Helsley’s impressive save streak They are likely to have the edge in this series opener. With Gibson looking to rebound and Keller’s recent form being solid but not invincible, this game should be competitive.
Final Score Prediction: St. Louis Cardinals 5, Pittsburgh Pirates 3
