The game played out exactly how I expected. The pace was incredible right from the start, and it felt like it was only a matter of time before both teams started cashing in on their chances. Devils defenseman Simon Nemec absolutely stole the show, scoring all 3 goals for the hat trick. I always love it when a defenseman gets on the scoresheet. It’s the most underrated position in hockey, and it’s quickly becoming the spot where an NHL player can quietly rack up the most points over a season.
