Western Kentucky Aiming for Fourth Straight Win on the Road

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers are riding a hot streak, winning their last three games. And are now focused on adding a road victory to their record. In their previous game, they cruised past Kennesaw State. Extending their season record to 6-2 overall and maintaining an undefeated 4-0 mark in Conference USA. After a close start, with the game tied at 7-7, the Hilltoppers quickly pulled away, scoring twice in the final minutes of the first quarter to secure a 21-7 lead.

By halftime, they were up 24-7, and they held firm, leading 31-7 in the fourth quarter before giving up a late score. Dominating on both ends, Western Kentucky outgained Kennesaw State in total offense 467-272, recorded 24 first downs to Kennesaw’s 18. And forced the game’s only turnover, despite a slight deficit in time of possession.

New Mexico State Seeking Redemption at Home
