Holy cannoli what an exciting Stanley Cup Finals we are witnessing so far! I’ve been watching hockey for 30 years and this is easily the most exciting series I have ever witnessed. Florida Panthers vs Edmonton Oilers Game 6 Prediction

Edmonton has finally rolled out of bed, and it’s all over the score sheet. But wait, Florida decided to wake up too, halfway through the last game. Showing they’re just as elite as Edmonton’s offensive firepower. However, Florida needs to figure out that shooting the puck right into Stuart Skinner’s chest isn’t a winning strategy. Unless Skinner’s chest becomes Swiss Cheese, this isn’t going to work! They also need to get physical and maybe even whisper some terrible dad jokes in the Oilers’ ears to throw them off their game.

Edmonton is playing like they have their backs against the wall (they do) and I expect them to come out tonight like caffeinated squirrels, scoring as if the puck was made of acorns. Florida will do the same, but let’s be real: their defense is as solid as wet tissue paper compared to previous Stanley Cup winners. And the same can be said about Edmonton’s defense.

Oh, Alexsander Barkov, Evan Rodrigues and Sam Bennett both need to wake up and do something tonight. Those 3 wake up, the NHL season ends tonight.

I’m actually surprised the total is still on the low side. Maybe the 2,500-mile trip back to Edmonton is considered a big deal, but these guys had plenty of time to catch up on Netflix and naps. Travel won’t be an excuse here! Both teams have elite players with reputations on the line, and nobody wants to look like they’re giving in. It’s the Stanley Cup Finals, folks, not a polite tea party.

For the over/under, I’m looking at Florida Panthers vs. Edmonton Oilers OVER 5.5 goals. If tonight’s game isn’t a goal fest, I’ll eat my hat.

I’m still betting on Florida to take home the Stanley Cup. But if they don’t pull it off tonight, they might as well start planning their golf trips. Because they will lose in game 7 on home ice
