If you watched the scoreboard last night, you already saw it: New Orleans took down Dallas 119-113 — and Pelicans -1 (5★) cashed clean.
That makes me 1-0 +$500 so far this week, and it’s another example of why I’m so picky about what I release.

What made the Pelicans successful last night
This game played out almost exactly how I expected — Dallas could have the “better” stretches, but New Orleans was built to win the finishing time.
Here’s what decided it:
- They won the 4th quarter, decisively. New Orleans closed with a huge final period and flipped a game that was tight (and at times leaning Dallas).
- Zion changed the game’s temperature. He came off the bench and delivered the kind of downhill, pressure offense that breaks defenses late — including a burst that created real separation in crunch time.
- Momentum shots + composure late. Big threes/plays to spark the run, and then calm execution at the line to ice it when Dallas made one last push.
That’s the exact script you want when you’re laying a short number: win the “winning time.” And that’s why Pelicans -1 was the side.
If you’re reading this after the win… you’re already late again
Be honest: how many times this season have you seen one of these recaps after the cash? That’s the cycle.
You don’t need “more picks.”
You need the right releases, at the right numbers, with a process that doesn’t force action.
