Starting Pitchers Tonight

Buckle up for a showdown on the mound as the Chicago White Sox send out Erick Fedde The man with a record of 5-2 and an ERA that’s more reliable than your neighbor’s Wi-Fi at 3.05. Last time out, Fedde danced with the Detroit Tigers for seven innings. Giving up just five hits and a couple of runs—a performance smoother than a freshly buttered baseball.

Fedde, a right-handed ace in the Windy City’s arsenal, has been painting the corners all June. Boasting a slick 2.88 ERA in his last four road starts. Despite being as unlucky as a black cat in a batting cage during his recent outing against Detroit. Where he only allowed two runs over seven innings, Fedde’s hoping his team will muster more hits than a Spotify playlist.

In a dazzling display against the Dodgers, Fedde showcased his dominance over seven scoreless innings. Earning him a spot in the pitcher’s hall of fame for the night.

On the other side of the diamond, meet Gavin Stone, the slinger for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Boasting an 8-2 record and a 3.04 ERA that’s lower than the Dodgers’ payroll. Stone recently tangled with the Colorado Rockies, spinning 5.1 innings while giving up just four hits and two runs. A performance as smooth as a jazz solo in Chavez Ravine.

Stone, a wizard on the mound, has been unstoppable this June, notching a perfect 4-0 record with a tidy 2.74 ERA. His latest gem against the Rockies saw him fanning batters like he’s auditioning for a part in “The Matrix,” striking out seven and walking only two.

Stone will face the White Sox for the first time in his career

Chicago White Sox Preview

The White Sox burst out of the gates on Tuesday, scoring three runs in the first inning. Unfortunately, it seems they used up all their mojo early because they couldn’t muster another run and ended up taking the L. Their offense this season has been as reliable as a chocolate teapot, averaging a measly 3.08 runs per gam. Ranking them dead last in the league, which is about as impressive as being the last person picked for dodgeball.

Their pitching hasn’t been much better, generously giving up an average of 5.15 runs per game. Putting them just ahead of whoever’s left in the race to the bottom. On the bright side, Paul DeJong has been blasting homers like he’s auditioning for a superhero movie. With 14 dingers and 30 RBIs to his name.

LA Dodgers Preview

On Tuesday, the Dodgers decided to make their pitchers earn their keep. Things started off rocky with three runs slipping through in the first inning, but after that,. It was like watching a cat herd mice—utter domination. Shohei Ohtani, wielding a bat like it’s his Excalibur, smacked a homer and drove in a pair of RBIs, leaving pitchers shaking in their cleats.

The Dodgers’ offense is hotter than a stolen base in a chili cook-off, averaging a robust 5.04 runs per game. Making them the fourth-highest scoring team in the league. Meanwhile, their pitching staff is tighter than a pickle jar lid, allowing just 3.6 runs per game. Earning them a solid second place in the rankings, right behind whoever’s got the best snacks in the dugout.

Speaking of Ohtani, he’s been launching moonshots like Elon Musk on a space bender, clocking 23 homers and an impressive 57 RBIs this season. With numbers like that, it’s no wonder he’s got pitchers nervously checking their rearview mirrors.
