Sunday gave us action across both Major League Baseball and college football, and the card produced a strong result with three winners from four 5★ selections.

The Braves delivered twice for us in Philadelphia, the Notre Dame–Wisconsin matchup sailed Over the posted total, and our only setback came with Toronto in Kansas City.

Braves vs. Phillies — Over 8.5 (-115) 5★ — WIN

Our first position on Atlanta and Philadelphia was Over 8.5, and it couldn’t have landed much closer to the number.

Philadelphia jumped ahead early, scoring twice in the first inning, and eventually carried a 4-1 lead into the eighth. At that point, the game needed a late offensive surge to get where we wanted it.

Atlanta delivered exactly that.

Ronald Acuña Jr. changed the game with a three-run home run in the eighth inning, tying the score at 4-4. Austin Riley then drove home the go-ahead run with an RBI triple in the ninth, giving Atlanta a 5-4 victory.

That ninth Atlanta run was also the run that pushed the game past our total.

It wasn’t an easy Over, but the number is what matters. Nine runs were enough to get us to the window.

Braves ML (-108) 5★ — WIN

We weren’t just backing the scoring in Philadelphia. We also had Atlanta on the moneyline at -108.

For much of the afternoon, that position looked like it was in trouble.

The Braves trailed 2-0 early and were down 4-1 after seven innings. But Atlanta’s lineup showed why we liked the side.

Acuña’s three-run shot erased the deficit in one swing, and Riley completed the comeback with his go-ahead triple in the ninth. Raisel Iglesias then worked a scoreless bottom of the ninth to secure the victory.

The comeback gave us a rare but welcome result: both our side and total cashed in the same game.

Blue Jays ML (-120) 5★ — LOSS

Toronto was the one selection that didn’t cooperate.

The Blue Jays fell behind almost immediately when Vinnie Pasquantino hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the first inning off Spencer Arrighetti. Salvador Perez added a two-run homer in the third, and Toronto suddenly found itself facing a 5-0 deficit.

Arrighetti ultimately allowed six earned runs in 4⅔ innings, while Kansas City starter Randy Dobnak held Toronto to one run over six innings. The Blue Jays collected eight hits but managed only a solo home run from Josh Smith and never seriously threatened the Royals’ lead.

Every card is going to have losses, and this was ours. Kansas City seized control early and never gave Toronto an opportunity to get back into the game.

Wisconsin vs. Notre Dame — Over 46.5 (-110) 5★ — WIN

Our college football play was Wisconsin–Notre Dame Over 46.5, and this one developed almost perfectly for an Over.

The teams combined for 23 points in the first half, putting the total in a reasonable position heading into halftime.

Then Notre Dame opened things up.

The Fighting Irish scored 14 points in the third quarter and another 14 in the fourth, turning a competitive 13-10 halftime game into a 41-13 victory. CJ Carr finished with 239 passing yards and two touchdowns, while Aneyas Williams added 90 rushing yards and two scores. Notre Dame finished with 350 yards of offense and did not commit a turnover.

Wisconsin contributed enough offensively to help the total, including a first-half touchdown, while Notre Dame did the majority of the heavy lifting after halftime.

The final score cleared our number by 7.5 points.
